I’m so glad you’re here!

They/Them
Welcome to Rootwork Healing! My name is Chan and I’m a Black and queer tarot reader. I have communicated with Spirit, plants, and those who have passed on since I was a child, communing with the ancestors and receiving their support and guidance as early as I can remember. My formal journey into the spiritual realm started in 2014 when I underwent a profound spiritual awakening and realized it was time to start working directly with my gifts. For over a decade, I supported clients through my private practice, guiding their healing experiences as a part-time herbalist and spiritual practitioner. Simultaneously, I spent 12+ years in the corporate realm as a learning expert and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practitioner and found myself at the helm of my second spiritual awakening. I was called deeper into my own healing experience and - with the support of my brilliant mentor, Emily Waymire - I found my purpose as a medium. My practice is called “Rootwork Healing” to honor the deep transformations of my soul and to pay homage to the magic and healing system of my African ancestors, which is channeled through my readings. I am honored to bring my full Self to this work.
Guided by my own experiences, my tarot reading style is simple: Only YOU are responsible for your growth and healing. I am here to help you navigate the most important work of your life -
Loving Yourself.
